Welcome to EcomScout. By accessing or using our website and services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into legally binding contracts to use EcomScout. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Account Registration

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information during signup and to notify us at jarklayer4@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Acceptable Use

EcomScout extracts publicly available information from Shopify and other websites for legitimate outreach use. You agree:

• Not to send spam or unsolicited bulk email through our outreach features
• To comply with all applicable anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, NDPR, etc.)
• Not to use EcomScout to harass, defraud, or harm any individual or business
• Not to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell EcomScout itself
• Not to share your account with others

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

4. Subscription & Payment

Premium plans are ₦10,000 for 30 days, billed once at the start of each period. Subscriptions do not auto-renew — you must manually resubscribe when your period ends. All payments are processed through Paystack. See our Refund Policy for refund terms.

5. Data Ownership

You own all data you upload (store URLs, SMTP credentials, etc.). EcomScout extracts publicly available information only and does not claim ownership over the resulting contact data. You are responsible for ensuring your use of extracted data complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

6. Service Availability

EcomScout strives for 99% uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, or force majeure events may cause temporary unavailability. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime.

7. Intellectual Property

The EcomScout brand, logo, code, and design are owned by EcomScout. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

EcomScout is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EcomScout's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 30 days prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms. You may close your account at any time by emailing jarklayer4@gmail.com.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use of EcomScout constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
